Parking for parents

Parents and children can park in the Princess Máxima Center parking garage. There is space for one car per family. A second car can be parked at the P+R Utrecht Science Park.

Outpatient clinic/day care unit visit

Are you coming to the outpatient clinic or day care unit at the Máxima Center? At the central desk on the care floor, a doctor’s assistant will give you a discount card for the parking garage. In case of emergency admissions or admissions outside regular opening hours, discount cards are available at security.

How does the discount card work?

At the payment machine, insert the discount card before entering your license plate number. Instructions are also printed on the card.

Rates

Short (outpatient) visit: €1.80 per hour (payment machine)
Day ticket: €18.90 (€5.50 with discount card)

Inpatient visit

Families staying on the ward can use a weekly parking card, available at the reception desk in the central hall.

Rates

Weekly card for parents:

Weeks 1 and 2: €30 per week (payment at reception, debit card only)
Weeks 3 to 6: €15 per week (payment at reception, debit card only)
From week 7 onward: €7 per week (payment at reception, debit card only)

With a day or weekly card, you can drive in and out freely during the paid period. A second car can be parked at P+R Utrecht Science Park.

Parking for (wheelchair-accessible) vans

Because of the garage height limit, vans do not fit in the Princess Máxima Center parking garage. (Wheelchair-accessible) vans may park in the taxi spaces near the main entrance. If you have a wheelchair-accessible van, place your card on the dashboard so it’s clear that you’re allowed to park there. If you have another type of van, please report this to the porter.
